Every series has a story, and The Sodor Colony is no exception. The most popular of Albo's channel, follow the crazy adventures of Thomas, Toad, and the other characters on the fictional Sodor Colony. Through crashes, brawls, and celebrations, The Sodor Colony is a Thomas series unlike any other!

Season 1 has nine of them. Surrounding the odd escapades of the engines, the episodes are usually two parts long, each about 4-6 minutes. On special occasions, they may be longer than that.

​​The Sodor Colony Story
The Sodor Colony is supposed to be a branch-off of The Island of Sodor, where many other Thomas series take place. There are similar and new locations, such as Knapford Station and also The Sodor Sturdy. The first Sodor Colony episodes were shot in an area much different from where it is filmed now. However, due to changes, the set was moved to another room. Starting Episode 3, the series took place in a different area.
The original idea of The Sodor Colony was based off of Trainlover476's Tomy Thomas and Friends series (some of the earliest videos are still entitled "Tomy Thomas and Friends" as evidence). However, with the addition of new characters and a new style, The Sodor Colony began to build up as it's own independent series.
Today, The Sodor Colony is on its second season, which is under production.
